Yale Model United Nations Korea 2022

Debate Korea organized the Yale Model United Nations Korea 2022 (YMUNK 2022)', the largest Model United Nations event for high school students in Asia, held from November 25th to 27th, 2022.

Marking its 10th year in 2022, the YMUNK provided domestic and international youth with opportunities to discuss various global issues concerning multiple committees. Due to COVID-19, the event was held offline for the first time in three years. This year's event welcomed around 300 participants from over 60 schools across nine countries.

The YMUNK 2022 took place at Seoul Olympic Parktel, while the award ceremony and closing ceremony were held at the National Assembly Members' Office Building in the South Korean National Assembly. The closing ceremony proceeded with congratulatory speeches by Kwang-Jae Lee, Secretary-General of the National Assembly, and Seokho Yoon, Secretary-General of Debate Korea. The YMUNK concluded successfully, leaving the youth participants with an enriching experience.

on a variety of topics.
