What is WUDC?
The World Universities Debating Championship (WUDC) is the largest debate tournament in the world and is the largest annual international event for college students. The first competition was hosted by the University of Glasgow in January 1981, with 43 teams from 7 countries. Currently, it has truly grown into an international English debate competition, with about 400 teams
(2 people per team) participating in more than 380 universities from 80 countries.
At WUDC, students from top universities around the world regularly gather to compete against each other. Numerous students from leading universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Stanford, Monash, and Sydney participate in the tournament. As the prominent domestic and foreign participants fiercely compete, winning the WUDC is the highest authority achievement that debaters can gain. WUDC offers a groundbreaking opportunity for Korean college students to develop critical thinking and logical communication skills by discussing internationally important issues.

Y20은 무엇인가요?
Y20은 G20의 공식 청년 분과로 국제 청년 공공외교의 핵심 역할을 하고 있는 청년 정상회담입니다. 2022년 G20이 인도네시아에서 개최됨에 따라 Y20 청년 정상회담 또한 인도네시아에서 개최됐고, 인도네시아 공식 대표단을 매년 선발해온 Indonesia Youth Diplomacy (IYD)에서 본 행사를 주최했습니다.
Y20의 프로그램들은 G20 정상회담이 개최된 2022년 11월전까지 인도네시아 각 지역에서 Pre-Summit의 형태로 매달 진행되었습니다. 별도 모집 과정을 거쳐 선발된 각국의 청년 대사들을 Pre-Summit 개최 지역으로 초청하여 해당 지역의 청년들을 대상으로 외교 역량 강화 및 국제 청년 교류 프로그램 등을 진행했습니다. 한국은 외교부 주최 하에 '2021년 모의 G20 정상회의’가 개최 되었고, 본 대회의 상위 4명의 대학생들이 대표단으로 선발되어 Y20에 참가했습니다.
