Video Interview

Please submit a 2-minute video in English responding to the following two questions.


1. An Issue to Be Addressed

Select one of IFWY’s six themes and identify one specific issue within the selected theme that should be addressed. Explain why the issue is personally significant and why it requires global attention at this time.


2. An Experience of Building Consensus

Describe an experience in which individuals with differing opinions reached an agreement or shared conclusion. Explain the role played in the process and the specific actions taken to facilitate consensus.


Video Guidelines

  • Language: English

  • Duration: 2 minutes

  • Both questions must be addressed in the video.

  • The video must be submitted without cuts or additional editing.

  • Upload the video to YouTube as an Unlisted video and submit the link below.

  • Please ensure that the submitted link is accessible.

English Proficiency

All program sessions will be conducted in English. Native-level proficiency is not required. Applicants should be able to communicate their ideas clearly and participate in discussions, debates, and presentations in English.

Providing an English proficiency test score is optional.

Please provide examples of when and how you have used English, such as attending international programs, studying or working in an English-speaking environment, participating in discussions or presentations, or communicating with people from different countries.

Attendance Confirmation

Please review the attendance requirements for your selected program track and confirm that you are available for all required sessions.


  • Eunpyeong Academy (30 Sep and 7 Oct, 19:00–21:00).

  • Global Dialogue (17–18 Oct) and Eunpyeong Conference (30–31 Oct).

Personal Information Collection and Use

  • Data Collected: Name, nationality, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, place of residence, affiliation, and application responses

  • Purpose of Collection and Use: Participant selection and notification, program administration, communication with participants, and issuance of certificates

  • Retention Period: Until one year after the end of the program (until 31 October 2027), or until the participant requests deletion, whichever comes first

  • Recipients: The program organizer and Eunpyeong-gu, for participant selection, program administration, and reporting purposes

  • Consent: You may refuse to provide consent to the collection and use of your personal information. However, certain information is necessary for participant selection and program administration, and refusal to provide such information may affect your eligibility to participate in the program.

Photography, Video & Audio Recording

Photography, video, and audio recording may take place throughout the program for documentation, archival, and promotional purposes. Recorded materials may be used by the program organizer and Eunpyeong District on official websites, social media channels, publications, and other promotional materials related to the program.
